Description
This solid wood mitten box is just darling! It's one of the first items we ever made. Much smaller than our Storage Benches, the Mitten Box continues to be a favorite, especially for children, who just love to have their own storage place for hats, mittens or treasures! You can choose to have your mitten box painted or stained plain, or with optional lettering on the seat, or with cutouts!

We do not use highly processed wood. Because of this, you can expect knots and minor imperfections that make each piece unique.
We use a flat water based paint for all our products.
Our "Old" finish is a single coat of paint with light distressing to create a warm, aged look.
Our "Solid" finish is two solid coats of paint with no distressing.

Nice Box/Bench
I received my mitten box today, and it was delivered faster then I expected. It seems well made, and the color is perfect. I ordered the sage green and I think the color is spot on. I like how the inside lid is finished with the paint. Very nice. I'm using mine for dog things, like wipes, towel, leash etc. Think outside the box with this one, it can be used for a lot of other purposes. : )

Just right.
Perfect for mittens. Also doubles as a foot bench so my little ones can reach the utility sink to wash in our mud room. Very functional and sturdy!
