We know you have many other choices when it comes to storage benches and wood entryway furniture. What sets Sawdust City apart is our use of real wood - solid knotty pine - and our handmade process. Our solid wood storage benches are built using sturdy wood screws for stability and strength, and are made to hold up to years of use. We make wood storage benches in a number of sizes to fit your needs and space. If our 4 ft. storage bench is too large, consider our 3 ft. Storage Bench or our 2 ft. Storage Bench.You have more options than just the size of our solid wood benches. Choose your bench in all the same color, or pick a stained top for a two-toned look. We offer optional cutouts for the sides of your bench, or you can even have us customize it even further with a saying from one of our 7x36, 9x36, or 10x48 signs - or even your own personalization.
Sawdust City Storage Benches do not use highly processed wood. The final look and finish is intended to be rustic and aged, with visible knots and other minor imperfections. Our OLD FINISH is a single coat of flat paint with distressed edges, for a warm aged feel. Our SOLID FINISH provides a more clean and modern look with two coats of flat paint and no distressing, but it is not like a veneer.

Great bench
My red bench arrived promptly, just as indicated via the website. It looks just as I had expected and looks great at the foot of my king bed. The room is a “southwestern” theme and it looks good with my distressed furniture, teal bedspread and Mexican throw pillows. I needed something narrow to alway plenty of walk-around space in my guest room and this bench (14” w) is perfect. Unfortunately I can’t fit ALL the throw pillow in the bench but some is better than none! I’m very pleased with the bench and it seems very sturdy. My husband had no trouble putting on the hinged lid when it arrived.

We ordered two of these benches for our mudroom for shoes, hats, and gloves. It has been great, the benches have tons of room in them for storage so my mud room is finally clutter free!
